  • Amazing Moss Covered Waterfall In The Hoh Rainforest

Incredibly mossy waterfall in a rainforest of the Olympic Peninsula, set under a fall forest.

Waterfall Photography that Captures Power & Tranquility

The most important rules of creating Pacific Northwest waterfall photography art are as follows: use a long exposure, find a unique angle, include sunlight if possible – but not on the water itself, and finally, don’t fall off a cliff. But the lighting part is most important!

Ok, perhaps I need to keep my priorities straight. It’s true that waterfall photography can be quite dangerous, as waterfalls in the Northwest always involve significant drop-offs, and everything in the area tends to be wet and slippery. Also keeping my lens dry while taking the waterfall pictures was a serious challenge on this one. I was almost directly below the falls, looking up, while taking this Pacific Northwest waterfall photography print. There were certainly easier angles I could have chosen, but I’m in love with how the composition of this waterfall photography, taken without a ND filter, includes the rainforest above with it’s fall color bathed in golden light.

    High Detail Waterfall Wall Art

The detail in this waterfall wall art print is exceptional, and when printed as large Metal Prints, individual moss leaves can be seen dripping with moisture. Grand and glorious, this colorful fine art photography print makes waterfall wall art black and whites pale in comparison.
